Subject: Taxed Enough Already (TEA) Party To Be Held in Jonesboro, Arkansas
Concerned citizens and grassroots organizations in Northeast Arkansas are joining forces in a protest in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the County Courthouse on April 15, 09, at 6:00 p.m. Timed to coincide with the date Americans must pay their federal income taxes, the Tax Day Tea Party effort is coordinated with numerous other TEA parties across the state and nation.
The nationwide TEA Parties are designed to provide advocates of individual liberty and the free-market system a forum to protest out-of-control spending by the federal government. The flawed “Stimulus Bill”, pork filled budget, the socialist plan for redistribution of wealth, and using the economic crisis as a government power grab are some of the issues being protested.
Various actions at the TEA Party will be taken to send a message to elected officials that the citizens have had enough and plan to unite together in a resistance movement and send a Vote of No Confidence on the following issues. Our tax money is being used in various ways, especially grants, to usurp our rights in all these areas.
The program will mostly consist of a number of five minute presentations by citizens of the community detailing our concerns on the issues and a question and answer session. A flyer on the Jonesboro Tea Party can be found at this link: http://www.wpaag.org/Tea%20Party%20Flyer.htm
